What methods are safe and harmless for our neck?
An effective method for cervical disease is self-massage, which implies a comfortable posture that can be performed in any comfortable chair. The movements start from the back and are stroking, shaking and squeezing.
At the beginning of the self-massage, the back region is worked between the shoulder blades, then they move to the shoulder girdle and chest area, located above the mammary glands. Massage shouldn't be painful. The more vigorous the movement, the less repetitions must be done.
Then, we go straight to the cervical region: towards the back of the neck, we do it with both hands along the spine, then, with squeezing movements, we massage the neck, replacing them with taps with the tip of the palm of thehand, for which we perform with our brushes on both sides of the spine and make 3-4 times the tightening movements. Finish by stroking the back of your neck.
The third stage is scrubbing. Fingertips are placed on the nape of the neck and the skin is rubbed from top to bottom. After that, the nape is rubbed in a circular motion from the nape to the back. The final stage of self-massage repeats the first.
